(PORTUGUÊS) (NEDERLANDS)

This morning I had a conversation with my eldest son about body awareness. Although we have been trained differently – he at Strongfit and I at Yoga & More – in the end we always talk about the same thing.
I call that, in a nutshell: the order of creation.
Thinking – feeling – acting – having
We have an unconscious thought that creates a feeling or emotion in our body and then react to that feeling. In an attempt to change our feelings, we turn to something outside of ourselves (relationships, food, drugs) for temporary comfort and in the belief that we have things under control.
Everything we feel in our body is caused by an uninvestigated thought. An uninvestigated thought brings chaos. Investigating the thought brings order because you will find that you believe something that is not true.
I talked about this in my blog yesterday. It is a short read.
Tomorrow morning we will continue to work on becoming aware of our bodies through constant attention and focus on each movement and what is happening in our bodies. What do you feel? It can be anything from blockages, freedom, space, limits, pain. It does not matter. If something strikes you, you know it wants attention. From you. As if it is a child that is not being seen. Open your heart and love. Then that “child” will be able to go its own way.
